On 31st January 2026, our couple were married in the luxury surroundings of Marylebone Town Hall before travelling to Claridge’s for an evening reception defined by candlelight, sculptural white florals and modern restraint.
The transition from ceremony to celebration felt entirely London — understated, elegant, intentional. A winter afternoon exchanging vows in one of the capital’s most iconic civic buildings, followed by champagne and dinner in the heart of Mayfair. For design-led couples hosting a luxury wedding in Central London, this pairing offers the perfect balance of luxury wedding flowers, heritage and contemporary glamour.
This celebration was conceived with clarity of vision. The aesthetic was monochromatic, editorial and deeply refined — designed not to overwhelm Claridge’s interiors, but to elevate them.
From Marylebone to Mayfair — A Seamless London Wedding
The day began at Marylebone Town Hall, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. The architecture, with its soft stone façade and intimate ceremony rooms, provided a composed and elegant setting for a winter wedding.
As dusk fell, guests arrived at Claridge’s for the evening reception. The shift in atmosphere was deliberate. Where the ceremony felt classic and composed, the reception embraced luxury warmth, glow and modernity. Candlelight flickered against polished surfaces, and layered white florals brought softness to the Art Deco lines of the venue.

The reception was centred around two long tables — a layout that instantly creates presence within a grand London ballroom. Long tables feel confident and contemporary; they invite connection while making a clear visual statement.
We styled the tables with abundant white floral bowls in two differing sizes, carefully spaced to create rhythm and proportion along their length. The bowls were generous yet low, allowing uninterrupted conversation while maintaining a sense of considered luxury.
Between the florals, taper candles in two varying heights introduced vertical movement. As evening settled over Mayfair, the room became immersed in a soft, golden glow. The interplay between crisp white petals and warm candlelight created an atmosphere that felt both fashion-led and deeply welcoming.
The flowers themselves were selected for form and refinement. Reflexed roses provided sculptural drama, their petals turned back to reveal layered structure. Calla lilies introduced clean architectural lines. Ranunculus softened the composition with delicate texture, while orchids added fluidity and quiet grandeur.
The overall effect was modern and editorial — reminiscent of an intimate dinner rather than a traditional wedding reception.
The French Salon in Claridges — An Asymmetrical Statement Mantelpiece
In the French Salon, we designed an asymmetrical mantelpiece installation that became the backdrop for portraits throughout the evening.
The arrangement flowed organically across one side of the fireplace, balancing the symmetry of the room’s architecture with something softer and more expressive. Reflexed roses formed the foundation, Ranunculus cascaded gently, and calla lilies added direction and line. The composition felt intentional rather than ornate — a study in proportion and restraint.
Against the elegant detailing of Claridge’s interiors, the white florals appeared luminous. The mantelpiece quickly became a focal point for photographs, offering guests a refined setting that felt curated yet effortless.
The Drawing Room — Stem Vases and Candlelit Glow to compliment the room
The two larger mantelpieces in the Drawing Room were styled more delicately, each adorned with individual stem vases of reflexed roses. By isolating each bloom, their sculptural beauty could be fully appreciated.
An abundance of tealights surrounded the arrangements, amplifying the sense of intimacy as the evening unfolded. The candlelight softened the architectural lines of the room and created an immersive warmth — a subtle contrast to the crisp whiteness of the florals.
It was a space designed for lingering conversations, champagne refills and the understated glamour that defines a Mayfair winter celebration.
