Adrita & Dave’s August wedding at Battersea Arts Centre blended the bold beauty of Bangladeshi traditions with the timeless elegance of a classical English celebration. 200 guests, family-style dining, cocktails & mocktails, seasonal florals by Into the Wild Florist and the sound of the BAC organ filled the air. On a summer’s day in August 2025, Battersea Arts Centre was alive with colour, music, and joy as Adrita & Dave celebrated their wedding with 200 family and friends. Planned seamlessly by Hardesty Event Design, the couple’s vision was to weave together the bold, bright traditions of Bangladesh with a touch of London style — and the result was nothing short of spectacular. The couple chose our bespoke wedding package so they could ensure all the colours, styling and on the day planning, coordinated together. Into the Wild also worked closely with the wedding planning to ensure on the day set up was planned to perfection.
A Grand Ceremony with a Personal Touch
The ceremony took place in the stunning Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre, where high ceilings, restored architectural details, and the iconic organ created a breathtaking backdrop. Bold Colours and Seasonal Florals
Adrita’s entrance was unforgettable — her bridesmaids, radiant in vibrant red dresses, led the way before she walked down the aisle. The fusion of colour, music, and architecture set the perfect tone for a day rooted in tradition and yet utterly contemporary.
At the heart of the design was a floral scheme by Into the Wild Florist, whose arrangements captured both tradition and modernity. Seasonal flowers — including Dahlias, Nerines, and Roses — were combined with striking Anthuriums and Gloriosa to create a vibrant yet contemporary feel.
Tables were dressed with bold, joyful arrangements in shades of Red, Orange and Pink, filling the Grand Hall with warmth and energy. The florals not only reflected the vibrancy of Bangladeshi culture but also brought a fresh, modern edge that paired beautifully with Battersea Arts Centre’s historic backdrop.
From the intimate detailing on tables to larger statement pieces, the flowers acted as a living thread throughout the day, tying together the couple’s vision of bold traditions blended with timeless London Style.
All our wedding flowers are bought locally at the flower market located in Battersea and we work closely with our Florist wholesalers to ensure our Dahlias were from flower farms based around Cambridgeshire, Kent and Surrey.

A Day to Remember
Food was central to the celebration. Guests enjoyed a family-style dining experience curated by Sapna catering company, bringing authentic flavours and warmth to the table. Platters of fragrant dishes were shared across tables, encouraging connection, laughter, and the sense of home.
To complement the meal, the couple offered a selection of cocktails and mocktails, ensuring every guest — from the youngest to the oldest — could join in the toast. The drinks were as colourful and lively as the décor, tying into the theme of blending tradition with modern flair.
Dancing the Wedding Night Away
As day turned to evening, the Grand Hall transformed. Lighting shifted to create an atmosphere of celebration, and the dance floor quickly filled. The blend of music — from classical performances to contemporary beats — kept guests on their feet late into the night.
The flow between spaces at BAC ensured the wedding celebration never paused: from cocktails in the Octagonal Hall to the grand dinner and dancing in the Grand Hall, every transition felt effortless. The table flowers were used for the evening styling and placed around the soft furnishing and tables and helped to ensure the special wedding feel lasted on into the evening.
