We designed contemporary luxury Roses upon Roses which complimented the beautiful rooms of Gunnersbury House and added elegance and charm to the table designs. Cindy and George, who flew over from Australia to marry on this beautiful sunny September day and they adorded thier wedding flowers.
Wedding Flowers with a Modern White Theme
Into the Wild Floral Design meticulously planned the florals and table styling in partnership with the couple, through zoom calls and emails. The couple choose Gunnersbury Park as its timeless elegance and Into the Wild Florist style perfectly matched thier design brief. Seasonal and classic white floral displays with table styling , worked in harmony with the stunning Orangery and the Rothchild rooms inside Gunnersbury House.
A key element of being a wedding florist is to translate couples ideas and visions in a reality – Cindy and George wanted their wedding florals to feel in harmony with the surroundings, but also to feel modern and luxurious too. We talked through various ideas and options, offered moodboards and styling advice as part of the planning process. These visual aids were especially important for the couple, because as they were thosands of miles away in Sydney. Gunnersbury Park Wedding Ceremony Flowers
Our couple chose the stunning Orangery for their ceremony, a space bathed in natural light, with white walls and a black and white mosaic floor. To complement the ethereal setting, we adorned the space with delicate white florals, creating an atmosphere of understated natural luxury. The bride carried a natural and seasonal bouquet, carefully curated to reflect the elegance of the day. Soft, flowing textures and fresh white blooms brought a sense of organic beauty, enhancing the romance of the moment.
In the Bridal Bouquet we used Dahlias, Cosmos, Garden Roses, Grasses, Campanula, Lacy Hydrangea and delicate foliage. These flowers were mirrored across all the floral styling throughout the day.
How the wedding florist created a modern aesthetic with styled tables for the reception insie Gunnersbury Park House
The drinks reception took place on the outside patio. When the sun started to fade, the guests were welcomed into the opulent Rothschild Rooms. In these rooms history and refinement provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration. The doors were closed on the main room and there was much anticipation to see the room decorated, as a result the big reveal created a real wow factor.
For the table flowers We set up 2 long tables and each table was styled with single-stem white Garden Roses. The Roses were cut at different heights to add texture. The flowers combined beautifully with tapered candles in glass covers – creating a romantic soft glow once the sunset and the guests moved indoors. The Roses had a minimalist feel, but an impactful touch and allowed the beauty of each bloom to shine.
The simplicity of the tablescape eluded sophistication, proving that less is often more when it comes to luxury wedding design.
A Beautiful Cascading Mantelpeice as a Focal Point for the Reception
A main focal point of the evening was the flower decorations on the grand mantelpiece. This backdrop transformed into a breathtaking floral display. The mantelpiece arrangement had a modern feel, it was asymmetrical in design and cascading arrangements of crisp white blooms and lush foliage framed the space. The couple sat infront of the arrangement for the wedding breakfast and afterwards it was a stunning backdrop for speeches and photographs.
